Showcasing Student Work

*Image features Michael and Vince

At JPII, each of our students and adults are talented in their own ways. Some students like to paint, some like to draw, while others prefer song and dance.

Mark and Vince, both part of our Adult Program, love to learn and write. By sharing their work with everyone, we are able to showcase not only individual skill, but some of the learning opportunities we provide at JPII. First up is a piece as-written by Mark:

Today I visited the planetarium. The guide at the planetarium explained that the planet venus will be visible just before daylight in the Eastern sky. Also visible in different parts of the dawn sky will be the Moon and the planets Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter. I enjoyed the planetarium. It was a very educational experience.

Next up, we have a piece as-written by Vince describing his latest trip to Cabela’s.

Yesterday, we went to Cabella’s at Hamburg.Ashley and Jenny took us there also. We saw fishes at the aquarium. Also, we saw lions, warthogs, alligators, zebras, elephants, and all the animals in Africa.

We saw a moose and fishes in the water. We also saw a raccoon, foxes, and goats in the cliff. And also, we did see a deer and a bear, and the bear cubs in the forest. We saw a deer hunter at Cabella’s and he talked about animals.

After we saw those animal’s at Cabella’s, I ate chicken fingers, French fries, Doritos, and sprite for lunch. After lunch, we were looking for those fishing poles at Cabella’s.

And finally, a lady bought use the baseball caps at Cabella’s, and then we went back to school.

We thanked Mark and Vince for allowing us to share their works with everyone!
