Giving Tuesday Berks

Getting involved with Giving Tuesday Berks

Sure, there’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday, both great reasons to spend money and grab some great gifts for the holiday season. But then there’s Giving Tuesday Berks, a relatively new movement that provides a perfect chance to give back.

It all started in 2012 when New York’s 92nd Street Y partnered with the United Nations Foundation. Black Friday and Cyber Monday were reasons to spend money, but Giving Tuesday would be a day to give back.
2014 was the first year for Berks County to celebrate Giving Tuesday Berks. The movement was created as a guide to giving locally to organizations that are close to heart.
This year, Giving Tuesday Berks will take place on December 1st!
John Paul II Center for Special Learning is thankful for the support we receive year-round. The funds we raise help strengthen our programming, provide learning materials, and support educational activities for students and adults. To help our cause for Giving Tuesday Berks, you can donate to JPII here. For more information on Giving Tuesday Berks, visit the website here.
