JPII Legacy Gala Goes Virtual

John Paul II Center’s Legacy Gala will be held June 15, 17 & 19 as a VIRTUAL event!

Keeping the health and safety of our students, adults, staff, and event guests at the forefront, John Paul II Center made the difficult decision to cancel our “physical” Legacy Gala on August 22.  The continued uncertainty around the COVID 19 pandemic coupled with our commitment to keep everyone safe have led us to move to an online event.  It was a difficult decision, but one we believe is in the best interest of those who planned on joining us that evening.

The good news is, that we’re going Virtual!  Beginning Monday, June 15, join us as we share all your favorite things about our Legacy Gala.

June 15:

Meet Charity, one of our 2020 graduates, who came to JPII facing many challenges, but thrived here through the therapies that she received.  (You will love to see her smile!)

Join us in celebrating our 2020 Halo Award honorees Sal and Nanette Cutrona whose support has been paramount in supplying our students with technology to communicate and enhance their education.

Learn about the inaugural Peggy’s Legacy of Faith Award, which honors the memory of the late Peggy Horrigan and will be given to Mary Maher, JPII’s Multi-Disabilities teacher who has been with the school since our first day.

June 17:

Join us in recognizing and thanking our sponsors and auction donors for their continued support.  We couldn’t do it without them!

June 19:

View the premiere of our Legacy Gala video that shows how JPII’s staff quickly responded to distance learning, turning a scary time into one filled with possibilities and hope.  After seeing firsthand the impact that our staff had in the lives of our students and adults, we invite you to support our Emotional Appeal to provide the necessary funding to continue this outreach while offering more scholarships to assist our families who are struggling at this time.
