Our annual Legacy Gala is virtual! Today is the day!
Although we have been forced to cancel our Legacy Gala, today is our moment to raise much needed funds through our virtual event. As you will see in our video, your support is essential in helping us be prepared when it is time to reopen our center.
The following video provides a glimpse into why our services and programs are needed more today than ever before in the lives of our students, adults and their families.
Keeping the health and safety of our students, adults, staff, and event guests at the forefront, John Paul II Center made the difficult decision to cancel our “physical” Legacy Gala on August 22. The continued uncertainty around the COVID 19 pandemic coupled with our commitment to keep everyone safe have led us to move to an online event. It was a difficult decision, but one we believe is in the best interest of those who planned on joining us that evening.
What we’ve seen during this unprecedented time is that the specialized programs that we provide are needed now more than ever. Our teachers, therapists, and direct care workers continue to provide the highest level of education to our students and adults while retaining the connection to the routines provided at JPII. All these successes are possible because of the funds we raise during our Legacy Gala. As you can see, it is more important today than ever before for our center to open once we may return to in-person learning. Thank you!
We are celebrating and showing our gratitude to those who support our Virtual Legacy Gala, whether through a sponsorship or donation to our Live and Silent auctions. Without the caring and considerate support of businesses, organizations and individuals, John Paul II could not provide the diversified programs to our children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As you view their Virtual Legacy Gala ads and listings, please consider supporting these businesses who support our mission.
