A Place to Grow
If you have a child with special needs, the John Paul II Center may be the answer to your prayers.
JPII is a Catholic school that is open to all students regardless of race, creed, or religion. Our students come from all over Berks and neighboring counties, with scholarships and financial aid available for all students.
Before you make a decision about your child’s placement, we encourage you to learn about our beautiful facility, wonderful staff, quality programs and services, dedicated volunteers, and of course, our amazing students. The progress they make, the obstacles they overcome, and the ways they flourish and thrive at the school they love are all important elements of the John Paul II Center story.
We warmly invite you to visit the school, tour the facility, and meet with the principal. Even if you decide that another program is best for your child, the time you spend at the John Paul II Center will be worthwhile, positive, and inspiring.
If your child has been diagnosed with intellectual developmental disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities and is between the ages of 3 and 21, please contact us at 610-777-0605.
School District Info
John Paul II Center provides a non-public alternative to the special education services offered by the public school system.
We mainly serve students who reside in one of the 18 public school districts of Berks County, although some of our students live in adjoining counties. If your school district’s border is within a 10-mile radius of our school, your district will provide transportation for your child.

Scholarships and financial aid are available for all students. JPII prides itself in working with every family to ensure each student receives the financial assistance required to fulfill their educational needs. All families must complete the Simple Tuition Solutions application. To access the application, please click here.
