Our Goal is to Support Everyone…
…in their quest for a meaningful life through learning, strengthening skills and different experiences. We function under the premise that all humans have the God-given right to a full and meaningful life which includes personal choice, social relationships, personal growth and community inclusion. Through person-centered programming we help individuals learn how to balance what is important to them, (wants and desires) with what is important for them (health and safety). We encourage individuals to be independent.

John Paul II Center Adult Community Participation Support Program is licensed under PA 55 Code 2380 and is overseen by the Office of Developmental Programs, (ODP) as a Community Participation Service, (CPS) Program.

To support Pennsylvanians with Developmental Disabilities to create greater independence, choice and opportunities in their lives.

To continuously improve an effective system of accessible services and supports that are flexible, innovative and person-centered.

Meals on Wheels, Encore Shopping Program, Nolde Forest, Exeter Food Pantry, Senior Living, Berks Encore Sr. Program kitchen support, Spring Valley Church Clothing Bank, Helping Harvest
Program Hours
8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Groups 2 & 3 Monday – Thursday
9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Group 1 Monday – Thursday
9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | All Groups Friday
A fiscal year program calendar is sent home annually which contains holidays and in-service days the program is closed. The calendar and special events can also be found on the JPII App. You must contact JPII to be added as an App user after your participant has been accepted into the program.
