Care and support at JPII, even after graduation
At John Paul II Center for Special Learning, we do as much as we can to help out not only our students and adults, but their families too. Whether it’s our Transition program, Work for Independence program, or our after school Job club (created with help from Easter Seals and the United Way), we try to offer a wide range of programs that will aid students, adults, and families in life after graduation.
Recently, we had Michael Butterworth, of M.P. Butterworth & Associates, conduct an informational presentation on Special Needs Financial Planning. He talked about how important it is to safeguard your child’s financial future and how important it is to plan ahead. There was also a Q&A on how current laws may affect families and loved ones.
Through the programs mentioned, we aim to support not only our students and adults, but JPII Alumni and their families as well. Thanks to companies and individuals like Michael Butterworth, we are able to continue our care and support, even after students graduate.
