“We are proud to share the wonderful news that our Middle States Association Visiting Team will recommend John Paul II Center for Special Learning for full accreditation, with no monitoring issues or stipulations through 2032. This is the best possible outcome!
The team was impressed and recognized that we had met all five standards and called our program innovative, expansive, and effective. They understood who we are and the care our community gives the individuals we serve. This is a tremendous affirmation of the work we do here. As the accreditation moves through its remaining four-step vetting process, we will stay vigilant and immediately address any issues if they arise. They noted that we have a devoted staff who is very knowledgeable about individual student needs, a school willing to integrate diverse resources into programs to maximize student learning opportunities, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Many schools talk about being a community of learners, but John Paul II Center for Special Learning is an example of such a community. Thank you to all who joined us this week and took the time to meet with them. And thank you to the staff, families, and students who joined us at a welcoming event on Sunday evening (pictured). We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for your continued support of our mission!”
