It’s been a little while since we held our 5th Annual Legacy Gala (in fact, we’re gearing up for our 6th).  Our goal last year was to raise enough money so that we could purchase two new wheelchair vans.

Since our school had one limited capacity wheelchair van (it held a maximum of three wheelchairs), we had difficulties including everyone on trips into the community.  While we are thankful for that van, we knew we needed more so that we could accommodate every individual.

That being said, last year’s Gala proved a success in that we raised enough money for the two wheelchair vans that we had our eyes on.  This feat was only possible because of the kindness and generosity of our supporters.  We are truly blessed and so very thankful to be a part of the Berks community.

So today is the the day we have all been waiting for.  The vans have arrived!
